Ephesians

1:1Paul，antleofJesusChristbythewillofGod，tothesaintswhichareatEphesus，andtothefaithfulinChristJesus:

1:2Gracebetoyou，andpeace，fromGodourFather，andfromtheLordJesusChrist.

1:3BlessedbetheGodandFatherofourLordJesusChrist，whohathblesseduswithallspiritualblessingsinheavenlyplacesinChrist:

1:4Accordingashehathchosenusinhimbeforethefoundationoftheworld，thatweshouldbeholyandwithoutblamebeforehiminlove:

1:5HavingpredestinatedusuntotheadoptionofchildrenbyJesusChristtohimself，accordingtothegoodpleasureofhiswill，

1:6Tothepraiseofthegloryofhisgrace，whereinhehathmadeusacceptedinthebeloved.

1:7Inwhomwehaveredemptionthroughhisblood，theforgivenessofsins，accordingtotherichesofhisgrace;

1:8Whereinhehathaboundedtowardusinallwisdomandprudence;

1:9Havingmadeknownuntousthemysteryofhiswill，accordingtohisgoodpleasurewhichhehathpurposedinhimself:

1:10ThatinthedispensationofthefulnessoftimeshemightgathertogetherinoneallthingsinChrist，bothwhichareinheaven，andwhichareonearth;eveninhim:

1:11Inwhomalsowehaveobtainedaninheritance，beingpredestinatedaccordingtothepurposeofhimwhoworkethallthingsafterthecounselofhisownwill:

1:12Thatweshouldbetothepraiseofhisglory，whofirsttrustedinChrist.

1:13Inwhomyealsotrusted，afterthatyeheardthewordoftruth，thegospelofyoursalvation:inwhomalsoafterthatyebelieved，yeweresealedwiththatholySpiritofpromise，

1:14Whichistheearnestofourinheritanceuntiltheredemptionofthepurchasedpossession，untothepraiseofhisglory.

1:15WhereforeIalso，afterIheardofyourfaithintheLordJesus，andloveuntoallthesaints，

1:16Ceasenottogivethanksforyou，makingmentionofyouinmyprayers;

1:17ThattheGodofourLordJesusChrist，theFatherofglory，maygiveuntoyouthespiritofwisdomandrevelationintheknowledgeofhim:

1:18Theeyesofyourunderstandingbeingenlightened;thatyemayknowwhatisthehopeofhiscalling，andwhattherichesofthegloryofhisinheritanceinthesaints，

1:19Andwhatistheexceedinggreatnessofhispowertous-wardwhobelieve，accordingtotheworkingofhismightypower，

1:20WhichhewroughtinChrist，whenheraisedhimfromthedead，andsethimathisownrighthandintheheavenlyplaces，

1:21Faraboveallprincipality，andpower，andmight，anddominion，andeverynamethatisnamed，notonlyinthisworld，butalsointhatwhichistoe:

1:22Andhathputallthingsunderhisfeet，andgavehimtobetheheadoverallthingstothechurch，

1:23Whichishisbody，thefulnessofhimthatfillethallinall.

2:1Andyouhathhequickened，whoweredeadintrespassesandsins;

2:2Whereinintimepastyewalkedaccordingtothecourseofthisworld，accordingtotheprinceofthepoweroftheair，thespiritthatnowworkethinthechildrenofdisobedience:

2:3Amongwhomalsoweallhadourconversationintimespastinthelustsofourflesh，fulfillingthedesiresofthefleshandofthemind;andwerebynaturethechildrenofwrath，evenasothers.

2:4ButGod，whoisrichinmercy，forhisgreatlovewherewithhelovedus，

2:5Evenwhenweweredeadinsins，hathquickenedustogetherwithChrist，（bygraceyearesaved;）

2:6Andhathraisedusuptogether，andmadeussittogetherinheavenlyplacesinChristJesus:

2:7ThatintheagestoehemightshewtheexceedingrichesofhisgraceinhiskindnesstowardusthroughChristJesus.

2:8Forbygraceareyesavedthroughfaith;andthatnotofyourselves:itisthegiftofGod:

2:9Notofworks，lestanymanshouldboast.

2:10Forwearehisworkmanship，createdinChristJesusuntogoodworks，whichGodhathbeforeordainedthatweshouldwalkinthe

2:11Whereforeremember，thatyebeingintimepastGentilesintheflesh，whoarecalledUncircumcisionbythatwhichiscalledtheCircumcisioninthefleshmadebyhands;

2:12ThatatthattimeyewerewithoutChrist，beingaliensfromthemonwealthofIsrael，andstrangersfromthecovenantsofpromise，havingnohope，andwithoutGodintheworld:

2:13ButnowinChristJesusyewhosometimeswerefaroffaremadenighbythebloodofChrist.

2:14Forheisourpeace，whohathmadebothone，andhathbrokendownthemiddlewallofpartitionbetweenus;

2:15Havingabolishedinhisfleshtheenmity，eventhelawofmandmentscontainedinordinances;fortomakeinhimselfoftwainonenewman，somakingpeace;
